Bandsaw Operators | Metal Manufacturing | High Rates + Overtime

Workhorse Staffing are currently seeking experienced Bandsaw Operators to join a busy and well established metal manufacturing operation offering strong rates, overtime, and long term stability.

What’s In It For You?

• Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm → $42.26/hr
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm → $48.59/hr
  • Regular overtime available (up to 10 hours per week)
  • Overtime paid at penalty rates

Key Responsibilities

• Operating automatic and semi automatic bandsaws
  • Cutting steel and metal products to specification
  • Reading measurements and following cutting lists
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • General material handling and workshop duties
  • Maintaining strong WHS standards and safe work practices
  • Working within a fast paced manufacturing environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous bandsaw operating experience within metal manufacturing
  • Experience handling structural steel or metal products
  • Forklift licence required
  • Overhead crane experience highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of WHS procedures
  • Reliable with own transport
  • Full Australian working rights required
